The Medici Villa of Collesalvetti

A visit to the Medici Villa of Collesalvetti is not to be missed. It was built
in the early 15th century on what was formerly known as the Pisan hill,
and was later purchased by Lorenzo and Giuliano de’ Medici, in 1476.

Today we can admire it in the center of Collesalvetti, in the main square
of the village, and it is fascinating to imagine it at the time when it was
 surrounded by green hills, woods and cultivated fields.
